19% Reduction in Acute Sports Pain in Just 3 Minutes
Acupressure reduced acute musculoskeletal sports injury pain by approximately 19% compared with sham and control treatments, as measured on a 100mm visual analog scale, after just 3 minutes of application.

50% Reduction in Post-Workout Muscle Soreness
Self-myofascial release (foam rolling, in this case) decreased delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) by 50% in the treated limb, compared to just 20% in the untreated control limb, following high-intensity interval training. It also increased hip range of motion by approximately 4.2%.

36% Reduction in Pain with 30-Minute Daily Use
Participants who self-administered acupressure for 30 minutes daily over 6 weeks reported an average 36% reduction in pain compared to those receiving usual care.

55% of Chronic Shoulder Pain Patients Reported Clinically Relevant Improvement
A blind randomized controlled trial found that 55% of patients in the trigger point compression treatment group reported clinically relevant improvement (from slightly improved to completely recovered) after 12 weeks, compared to just 14% in the control group.
